The NCT wants all parents to have an experience of pregnancy, birth and early parenthood that enriches their lives and gives them confidence in being a parent. 

The NCT aims to offer information and support in pregnancy, childbirth and early parenthood to all parents to give them the opportunity to make informed decisions, we also campaign for improved maternity care and better services and facilities for all new parents.  

Our York branch of the NCT provides a support network to help you through pregnancy and early parenthood. For some people, that support may be attending our very popular antenatal classes, or contacting a breastfeeding counsellor, for others it may be meeting new mums at coffee mornings, finding out about child-friendly cafes in York or going on a social night out.
