NCT trained Breastfeeding
Counsellors offer their services free of charge to all new mothers,
to help them establish and continue breastfeeding. They can offer
information and support to parents on many aspects of baby feeding
including weaning and returning to work etc.
NCT breastfeeding counsellors are mothers who have
breastfed their own babies and have been trained to support,
encourage and supply information to any expectant or new mum / dad /
grandparent.

Calls are charged at national rates. At other times
you will hear a recorded message giving names and numbers of four
breastfeeding counsellors who are happy to take out of hours calls.
BREAST PUMP
If your baby is not able to feed at the breast or is
too weak or ill to suckle vigorously or as often as normal, you may
need to use an electric breast pump to help maintain your milk
supply. We have an Ameda Egnell hospital sized Breast Pump for hire
