There are several social 'coffee morning' groups in York and the surrounding area coordinated by local mums. We meet in member’s own homes for a chat while the little people socialise - if you’re lucky you might even get a biscuit or a slice of cake too! They are an ideal way of making new friends and meeting people with babies of a similar age to your own. 

Some meetings are tailored to expectant mothers or those with children under one – these are known as ‘Bumps and Babes’ meetings. Coffee mornings are especially appreciated by first time mothers, and newcomers to the area.
